Section 2: Governance Roles

There are three levels of membership, based on the level of contributions to the DAO:

2.1 Members

Members are the basic level, not rewarded directly for their role but provided opportunities to find value for their membership.

2.2 Contributors

Contributors are members who want to dedicate their time and expertise to the DAO, helping it achieve its goals and its mission. They work for the Developer DAO Foundation or any Sub-DAOs.

In the case of working for the Foundation directly or for a Sub-DAO that has yet to form a legal entity, they must sign a Contributor Agreement with the Developer DAO Foundation.

2.3 Stewards

Stewards are elected members who help “Steward” the DAO via elevated responsibilities in Governance, with specific objectives, responsibilities, and accountability.
